Yoga and Mindful Eating for the whole family
I am a proud Co-Founder of both Soul Space and The Yoga Teacher Collective Dubai, a community aimed at new and experienced yoga teachers in the UAE, helping them along their way to becoming the best teacher they can be. I am committed to building a community right on our door step and to personal and professional growth.
I found yoga at a very vulnerable time in my life. Having struggled with an eating disorder and depression during my teenage years, I have always found it difficult to find meaning and truth in the way we live our lives.
I truly believe yoga to have saved my life. On the deepest levels, yoga has changed me, from the inside out and I wish to pass this on to everyone else open to the experience, whether new to the practice or experienced.
After completing a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and spending some time in the corporate world, in 2016 I finally took the leap and trained as a vinyasa yoga teacher with Happy Jack Yoga, a Baron Baptiste fellow, whose focus is on integrity, authenticity and community. I have since added a Yin Yoga Training, Art of Assisting Course and a 40 Days to Personal Revolution Program to my skill set.
In 2018 I also decided to further my studies and become a children’s and family yoga teacher, as working with families is at the heart of what I love to do. I believe that children are the foundation that we have to build our hopes for the future on and that they need and deserve our guidance in order to become the best versions of themselves. Being a mother is a big part of who I am, and expanding my knowledge into pre- and postnatal yoga is next on my list.
I also hold a diploma in Nutrition and Weight Management with specialism in Childhood Nutrition and Preventing Childhood Obesity and am passionate about the concept of Mindful Eating.
I currently teach staff and students at leading schools in Dubai, and classes for the general public across Dubai.
